As we approach International Women’s Day 2025, Ollin Women International is proud to spotlight the remarkable women shaping the equine industry in Ocala/Marion County, the “Horse Capital of the World.” From skilled equestrians and dedicated trainers to veterinarians, farm owners, and equine service providers, these women embody strength, passion, and leadership in a historically male-dominated field. Their contributions not only advance the industry but also create a more inclusive and equitable future for all.  

This year, we recognize a woman whose influence extends beyond her profession—someone who is not only respected for her expertise but also valued for her commitment to empowerment, inclusion, and advocacy. Whether through training the next generation of riders, providing top-tier veterinary care, ensuring access to high-quality feed and equipment, or using equine-assisted therapy to heal both horses and people, this honoree embodies excellence in action.  

Beyond her professional achievements, she is a champion for equity and meaningful change. She actively fosters a culture of belonging, ensuring that opportunities in the equine world are accessible to all, regardless of background. Through her leadership, she advocates for policies and practices that promote gender equality, nonviolence, and peaceful conflict resolution—values that align deeply with the mission of Ollin Women International.  

Her impact also extends into the community. Whether through mentorship, volunteer work, or philanthropic efforts, she invests her time, talent, and resources to uplift others. Her integrity, compassion, and unwavering commitment to both horses and people make her a true force for good.
